Inclusion Policy
At Hope and Grace, we understand that inclusion jewellery holds deep personal significance. Each piece is created with the utmost care, respect, and attention to detail. To ensure your inclusions are handled correctly and returned safely, please carefully follow the guidance below.
By placing an order for inclusion jewellery, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Collection Kit
Hope and Grace can provide a collection kit when requested which includes:
A collection tin for your inclusions
A wooden spoon
A order form
A instruction form
A return envelope
A ring sizer (if applicable)
A leaflet about Hope and Grace
Sending Your Inclusions
Customers are responsible for safely sending inclusions to Hope and Grace. We strongly recommend using a tracked and secure postal service, as we cannot accept responsibility for inclusions lost or damaged during transit to us.
Please do not send more inclusions than advised. Excess materials are unnecessary and may not be able to be returned.
Inclusion Guidelines
Please send only the approximate amounts listed below (per item, if you have ordered more than one item please contact us to discuss how much of your inclusion to send):
• Cremation Ashes: approx. ¼ teaspoon
• Hair or Fur: approx. 1 inch lock (or a few strands if a lock is not available)
• Teeth: approx. 1 tooth
• Breastmilk: 10ml, securely double-bagged, ideally sent frozen
• Fabric: approx. 2 inch square
• Umbilical Cord: approx. half a stump or small snippet
• Pregnancy Test or Ovulation Cap: 1 item only
Sending larger quantities than advised does not improve the finished result.
Excess & Leftover Inclusions
• Any unused inclusions remaining after your jewellery has been completed will be returned with your finished piece, except for breastmilk.
• Any remaining breastmilk will be respectfully disposed of once your piece is complete.
Packing Checklist (Important)
To ensure your inclusions are correctly identified and returned, please include the following information inside your parcel:
✔ Customer full name
✔ Order number
✔ Name of the person(s) or pet(s) the inclusion belongs to
✔ Type of inclusion enclosed (e.g. ashes, hair)
✔ Return address (clearly written)
Failure to include this information may result in delays to your order.
Care & Responsibility
• Once inclusions have been incorporated into your jewellery, the piece is considered complete and final.
• Due to the bespoke and personal nature of inclusion jewellery, orders cannot be refunded, exchanged, or remade.
• Hope and Grace takes every reasonable precaution when handling inclusions; however, we cannot be held liable for loss or damage during transit to us.
